A musical journey through space and time beginning in Samarkand with the compositions of the great Persian musician, composer and musicologist ‘Abd ul-Qadir Maragha (1360? -1435) and, following his trail to Constantinople and the Ottoman musical tradition that that kept his tradition alive up to our days. The journey is enriched by the voice of Sepideh Raissadat, formed by the greatest representatives of the Persian classical tradition and recognized today among the most significant performers of his generation.”
