Sepideh Raissadat & Kiya Tabassian have been invited by the Quebec International Sacred Music Festival to perform the “Musical Calligraphy” concert.

The performance will held at Saint Roch Church in Quebec city, QC, Canada on 12 September 2013 t 8 p.m.

This program is an initiatory journey in various mystical traditions of Sufi music. Based primarily on the repertoire of classical Persian music and the poetry of the great mystic poets from the thirteenth through the sixteenth centuries, this concert revisits Sufi music that is intimately connected with the everyday life of people in the Middle East as far as the shores of the Mediterranean. A sacred moment to be shared with two virtuosos who promise a unique musical journey!
